Ultra-lab was founded in 2011 and is dedicated to the dissemination of creative technologies, digital manufacturing and Open Hardware in society and particularly in creative contexts. Services provided include open selling hardware, workshops and co-design projects around the creative technologies and digital manufacturing, open hardware, and the development and dissemination of free content (articles, documentation, designs, documentaries, etc.).

Ultra-lab have offices in Spain (Madrid) and France (Marseilles) and have developed numerous education and tech collaborations to disseminate creative technologies. Projects have include training programme in Creative Technology Institutes in Barcelona and digital manufacturing workshops.
